Pinned Mod a Game

I was talking to a good story writer. If it would be okay, and we can drum up some interest, could you put Pred and I down as co-mods for a beginner game in the future?

I have done it before, (see post #10), but it has been quite awhile.

We used to co-mod games here, because of some problems we had back then. It was fun to get your heads together, and the mod coverage was insured with a back-up.

Pred would like to get her feet wet,(maybe to get the blood off :P) and a few new players wouldn't hurt.

Could I be put in the list? I still have a desire to a Survivor-themed game. (Survivor as in the popular reality show contest.) I definitely need to do more work on it and get help in making it (still looking for anyone interested in going down the rabbit hole with me) if it's feasible, but I do want to do it. Failing Survivor-themed I also have a second idea I've had for a while.

Sounds good just to give you an idea here's the docket:

1. Bam - advanced
2. LM - intermed
3. Sharpe? <--- make sure you contact a mafioso to have them give your setup for approval please. (that'd be bam, heather, and zullu)

Anyways, if we get a bunch of new players that feel like they'd want/need a beginner game, I'm down for running it. (Got a story idea for it running in my head and portion of an opening post that really only works with a beginner game.) I'm assuming I wouldn't need Mafioso approval for the set-up with a beginner game, right? And as mentioned, I've got no exact timeframe I'd want to run it in, but if it comes up, I'm down for it.

Is there anyone that could run through the process of a set up with me? Dont wanna bother bam since he is only active mafioso atm with the other two on a break, but i need to know what i need to consider>?? Obviously story, roles, theme??

I think it would need to me an intermediate as not too many new players around these forums, certainly not advanced!!

Just not sure what else i need to consider? Obviously my theme and story line, the roles and any special abilities, anything else?

Obviously Bam, LM and sharpe all looking to MOD a game first so plenty of time to try and figure out everything!

Role equality, penalty of too many or too few roles, awkward situations that can come about with certain role interactions, the order wherein roles interact with another for the most part settles most of the problems, but it's more or less just how mods can foresee the outcomes of their games to make them fair. As an example, if your game has 3 suicidal townies, 3 jesters and 2 mafia kill-less bombs the jesters are bound to win depending on whether or not you make the jesters a group or not.

I'll work 8n setup with you, I don't mind sitting out games, just prefer to play the game directly before I mod to know the majority of my player base

I'd like to do another game at some point. I've got an idea kind of floating in my head at the moment that still needs a bit of work and I'm figuring out that stuff. When I do have a set up idea it'll be intermed or advanced, though I'm leaning towards intermed at the moment.
