    • your comp got tired of your child-period and decided to pass it all onto us three times, but I have no problem replying.

If peoples ideas are rubbish why not improve on them instead of turning them down? Apparently you do not read that well, if I give you some words of advise, thats what will lead to changing my vote but most of you are ignorant and don't know how to read that little part of advise, sure, sometimes after re-thinking the advise, its still not satisfactory because of how the idea YOU have posted is simply a nice big pile of ~@~. Even your idea got some ideas thrown at it about how it could be better however, still, those ideas of how to make it better would not work.

Perchance reading will do you some good, child, because if you do not, you're bound to play the part of the fool. Not all ideas are good to have around so a LOT of them get denied because they are not good for the people, because they are not good for GF, because they are just ~@~. No improvement can make ~@~ become :gold:

    • Sorry Venom 3/5 since it might make the alliance weaker if a none wanted player joined by the auto merge and some players do not care about the alliance they join only to get protect so 3/5 unless you give more reasons to make this idea better
    • I agree with bugmeat's post. The only thing I can add is that if someone in the merging alliance didn't want to go along with the merge, as it works right now they have an easy way to politely not follow the herd. Being automatically merged means that person would have to intentionally drop tag and make it known they were snubbing the new alliance.

I dug my key into the side
Of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive,
Carved my name into his leather seats...
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
Slashed a hole in all four tires...
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats
    • I see this being very buggy if it gets introduced. In addition, what happens if the alliance wants to un-merge? Is this just an instant merge? Do you really want the merging alliance to lose all tags, ranks, etc? Who controls the merge process? What happens to any player(s) that don't want to merge? I don't see this working well with how it's been explained so far.

    • I agree with Bamcix on this one, if they're too lazy to reapply then they shouldn't be allowed into the alliance, however; why can't we change this into an apply and automatic enter button for merging party so that the home sec doesn't have to review every alliance application sent to the alliance from the merging alliance?
    • 5/5 this is an OPTION that will make facilitating IDEAL alliance mergers a lot easier.

@ all who argue we dont need this: so what! we WANT it you freakin sticklers. an idea doesnt need to be neccessary, it needs to have a good reason, good design, and a good, fruitful result.

@ all those who says it caries all the dead weight/trash players with it: thats what the reject option is for you @@#$%%

@ all those who agree with any of bamcbixs pesemistic commentation: i cannot say what i would want due to forum rules

I know that you're not always this silly, I've seen it. The new alliance knows nothing abut the vast majority of players coming over in the merger. they have no idea who to kick out. The fact that people have to take the initiative and apply themselves to move over with their mates is what helps in weeding out many useless members. "the bums that don't read circs or care about alliance affairs" would all be brought along with an auto-merger. These are the players that you don't want in your alliance (well, you might) and they're the sort that generally don't bother to apply to the new alliance. Manual mergers also have the added bonus of not allowing the new alliance to bring along all of the inactive accounts from the merging alliance to further pad their score.

Besides, any good alliance has proper leadership that doesn't piss and moan about having to do their job, like accepting a bunch of applications during a merger. And how often do mergers actually happen? For the most part mergers are rare except in the early days of a server or among the lesser alliances The ones that don't care about who they get as long as it increases their standing on the leader boards. And what they want doesn't matter to me.

@ anyone who talks about my grammer: im to lazy to spell check and i dont care

Grammar is not spelling. They are related, but not the same. One can have perfect grammar while displaying atrocious spelling. :P

      lol tushey sir

well bugs those are all true and valid points. my commentation (<---lol :P ) is from my own perception of alliance mergers. i would think that a leader, as i would myself, would do his research on an alliance they are merging with to such a degree as to know weather (<---lol :P ) to do a manual or automatic merger. some alliances are small and strong and dont have any dead weight. for them to merger this idea is prime. in anycase, you are right, it has its situations where you should NOT do this but it also has its situations where you should. how often that may occur i dont know and assume popular vote will dictate that indirectly. as for me i give it a 5 just to expand the tools with which we can play the game. you can never have to many tools (unless GF decides we have to many; which i will let THEM decide, not me)

      Respects to the BM :hail:
