Quick thing: The picture you have to show an example city is outdated. There are two new graphics (an airship and a fountain) which would be in that city now. In addition the menu at the top now has a Player Details tab which is also missing. As one final thing, the little hill behind the town wall should contain a brown square patch of dirt as an update made it clearer how that was an additional building spot later on. The Friends list also is missing the button where you can sort your friends.

@Kaleg, don't you note this is his first post? Probably he is the owner of the website and do not have any idea what Ikariam is about. The image is taken from google. Do you expect him to note that? IMO, this thread is spam and nothing more...

Whether or not he plays Ikariam really doesn't matter to me. But if he is the owner of the website, I want him to know if his picture is outdated so he can update it. I didn't say, "Lol noob ur pic is wrong." I merely mentioned it was inaccurate and why so that he knows how many things would be different. And personally, I had no problem rating Ikariam as I'm sure others won't.

Ya it's borderline spam/advertisement, but it's to advertise Ikariam and honestly we could use some new blood. Newbies posting external links get flagged as spam but I let it slide.

Sometimes knowing when to break the rules is a more valuable aspect than enforcing them blindly. Even if the user is promoting for selfish reasons, it's at least a win-win scenario for all parties.
